Meet Martin Collard

I'm a strategic thinking leader, driver of change and business improvement champion with diverse senior management and consulting experience based on 35 plus years of multi-sector exposure both locally and overseas. Constant focus on genuine business improvement and change in businesses across multiple sectors. These include mining, technology and innovation, oil and gas, aerospace, composite manufacturing, low and high volume manufacturing, operations and service & government working with both SMEs and large global organisations.

Having worked for many businesses over my career so far, I now focus on using the lessons learnt and experiences gained to enable definition and design of bespoke and suitably scaled approaches, often using Lean Thinking to underpin ideas, enabling rapid delivery of focused improvement approaches targeting the genuinely important business issues ensuring efforts and resources are deployed correctly to maximise client results.                             

My focus and passion is particularly aimed at Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) following many years working in the sector as this is where the real challenge, excitement and team connection exists and where I feel I can deliver maximum benefit working directly with the owners and senior team members. Working in SME businesses are dynamic and enable real improvement and change to happen quickly linked to rapid business benefits and results. 

So, to bring this story right up to date, all the above combined with many years spent considering the pros and cons of establishing my own business, I took the plunge at the start of 2023 and founded Priority Focus Group Pty Ltd to enable me to truly follow my passion for helping businesses achieve great things and haven't looked back.
